Another Med_Another DesignSi può parlare di design mediterraneo? E che cosa lo contraddistingue oggi? Il numero opera una lettura dell’evoluzione del design e della sua cultura nei paesi della costa sud e orientale del Mediterraneo dando voce ai diversi territori che si affacciano su questo mare dove il locale si confronta con la mondializzazione e modifica, seppur con alcune contraddizioni e molte differenze tra i paesi,la propensione verso nuove idee di futuro. Is it possible to talk of Mediterranean design? What makes it stand out today? This issue investigates the evolution of design and the related culture in the countries of the southern and eastern coasts of the Mediterranean. It provides a voice for the lands around the sea: places where local aspects come face to face with globalization and alter – albeit with certain contradictions and many differences between the countries – the predisposition towards new ideas for the future.
