The year 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of Le Corbusier’s death.
Given the particular nature of such circumstances, diid is dedicating a special issue, no. 60, to his lessons, i.e. those of a teacher, perhaps the greatest of the twentieth century, able to interpret the theses and practices of architectural modernity at all levels; a great man, also thanks to the depth and extent of his studies on the meaning and ways of contemporary living that led him towards intense and problematic experiences, sometimes axperiences that cannot be supportes, but that were nevertheless focused on the interests of man.

Every issue takes a close look at a core matter in the current debate about all technical and cultural aspects of the production world. Researchers, scholars and professional figures fromItaly and across the globe contribute to the publication, presenting a range of stances and points of view, the Research Center. The articles are selected by a committee of referees in a blind peer review process.
The Series annually develops three subjects: the critical dimension and the problems within the discipline; the emerging themes or the ongoing experiences, the design geographies in order to understand the territorial characters..

Each issue developes a theme that is representative of the debate which crosses the phenomenology of the product system in a technical and cultural extension. Researchers, scholars and professionals of the national and international scene are called to compose a multi-voice tale, with different points of view. They compose the diid Study Center. The selection of articles provides for review and evaluation by a Committee of Referee (double blind peer-review). Proposed contributions should be original and relevant in relation to the themes traced.
